Braces & Invisalign for All Ages

Braces Technology

The orthodontic industry has come a long way since I was a kid.  Braces today are much smaller, more comfortable and more physically attractive. Kids that come into our office these days are excited about getting braces! I know that wasn't the case when I was younger!

However, for those teens and adults that may want a more discreet treatment option, we are an Elite Provider of Invisalign and Invisalign Teen! With Invisalign, you can straighten your smile without the metal and brackets that come with traditional braces. Invisalign uses a series of clear, comfortable and removable aligners to shift teeth into position.

At What Age Should I Bring My Child to the Orthodontist?

This is a question I get asked very often. I agree with the American Association of Orthodontists' recommendation for children to see an orthodontist for an initial evaluation by the age of seven. I know that age may be surprising to some parents. However, at this age, baby teeth are being replaced by permanent teeth and it's a great time to start tracking your child's jaw growth and development.

By getting regular dental growth check-ups, we'll know the best possible time to start treatment, if it is needed at all. We'll also be able to detect orthodontic issues early on to prevent more invasive treatment later on such as extractions and jaw surgery!

As a community service initiative, we've recently launched our Little Surfer Smiles Club. It's a Kid's Club specifically for kids ages 7 and up. It's free to sign up for our Kid's Club and by being a member, kids will receive free dental growth check-ups every six months and access to awesome office contests and prizes!

Am I Too Old for Braces?

You may be surprised to hear that adult patients make up a significant portion of our patient base at Hudson Orthodontics! It's never too late to receive the many benefits of orthodontic treatment as long as you have healthy gums and bone structures.  Many of our adult patients choose clear braces or Invisalign to better fit their lifestyles. If you're interested in straightening your smile, Dr. Hudson will do a thorough examination and digital impressions to develop the best treatment plan to fit your needs.  Fill out the form on this page to schedule your complimentary exam.

Wondering How Invisalign Works?

Invisalign uses a series of custom, clear aligners to move your teeth into their desired positions. The aligners are made of smooth, BPA-free plastic and are removable so you can eat and drink what you like without any restrictions. Not sure if you're a candidate for Invisalign? No worries. Dr. Hudson offers free consultations so you can come meet him, our team and see which treatment option is right for you. If Invisalign is your choice, Dr. Hudson will take a 3D impression of your mouth using hi-tech digital imaging equipment to map out a treatment plan that is both precise and effective! Fill out the form on this page to schedule your free exam with Dr. Hudson.
